Kirsten Kluyts Accused Murderer Bafana Mahungela to spend Xmas behind bars
Bafana Mahungela will spend Christmas behind bars after his bail hearing was postponed to the 29th of December 2023.
After the defense’s closing remarks on Wednesday, Prosecutor Ayanda Bakana asked for a postponement saying that the state would be doing an injustice to the family of the victim and the applicant, adding that as the state they needed to clear certain issues that had been raised.
Mahungela, 21 was arrested a month after the murder of Kirsten Kluyts at the Sandton Sports Club. Her body was found on a path near the sports club when people searched for her after she failed to finish the MyRun event on October 29.
