Babes Wodumo lost her husband Mandla Maphumulo aka Mampintsha on the 24th of December 2022. She then took a break from the entertainment industry in order to mourn her husband.
On the 30th of September 2023, Babes Wodumo was performing in Zimbabwe’s second largest city of Bulawayo. Babes performed live at the Queens Sports Club.
This was her first performance outside South Africa since the passing of Mampintsha. Below is what she posted on her Instagram page.
