President Ramaphosa Mourns the Passing of Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi

South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa is saddened with the passing of the Zulu Traditional Prime Minister Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.

Mangosuthu Buthelezi passed away this Saturday morning after spending the past weeks in hospital.

Buthelezi was the founder and President Emeritus of the Inkatha Freedom Party. He was Home Affairs Minister from 1994 to 2004.

He also served as the Zulu Traditional Prime Minister under King Cyprian Bhekuzulu KaSolomon, King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu, and King Misuzulu KaZwelithini.
