Dr Nandipha Magudumana appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s court yesterday seeking bail.
Magudumana was in tears and she told the Court that she wanted bail so that she would go home to care of her children.
In addition she told the courts that she had no reason to flee the country and that she was forced by Thabo Bester to skip South Africa for Tanzania where they were arrested while on the run.
Dr Magudumana is facing charges of aiding a convicted r_apist and murderer Thabo Bester to escape from Mangaung Maximum prison in May last year.
It appears Dr Nandipha Magudumana has a long list of other criminal cases registered against her.
Therefore the court came to a decision that Magudumana had every reason to escape from South Africa.

Durban North CAS 1/7/23- Fraud (Amount R150 000)
Randburg CAS 269/3/23- Fraud (Amount 900 000)
