On Wednesday last week, the 23rd of August 2023, Zimbabweans went to the polls in a harmonised elections to choose their President, Members of Parliament and Councillors.
The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission announced on Saturday, the 26th of August 2023 that Mnangagwa had won with over 2.3 million votes while Nelson Chamisa of CCC received over 1.9 million votes.
