South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has congratulated Emmerson Mnangagwa who was announced as the winner of last week’s Zimbabwean harmonised elections.
Zimbabweans cast their votes on Wednesday last week, the 23rd of August 2023.
The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission announced on Saturday, the 26th of August 2023 that Mnangagwa had won with just over 52%.
Namibian President Hage Geingob and Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan also sent their congratulatory messages.
