Dj Maphorisa reportedly appeared in the Randburg Magistrates Court yesterday, Friday the 25th of August 2023.
Maphorisa was arrested in May 2023 for allegedly assulting his girlfriend actress Thuli Phongolo in Sandton.
The former Generations: The Legacy actress had initially dropped the charges against Maphorisa when he made his first appearance at the Court.
But the prosecuting authorities pursued the case. The charges were finally dropped by the prosecuting authority yesterday.

A few weeks ago Maphorisa had been denied entry into the United States of America as the case was still pending.
