SANTACO- Western CapeTaxi Strikes Comes to an End

SANTACO met with the Minister of Transport on the 9th of August 2023 following taxi strikes in the City of Cape Town and Western Cape Province.

The organisation released a statement saying the stay away was officially over. Part of the statement reads as follows.

“It is with profound relief that we announce the immediate cessation of the Stay Away. This comes after painstaking deliberations and immense pressure on all parties involved.”
