Songstress Kelly Khumalo has been cancelled, twice this week. She was removed from the line-up and will not be performing at the Maseru Jazz Festival.
Kelly had been previously removed from the list of performers scheduled to perform at the forthcoming Tribute to Women festival, honouring women.
She was removed due to the ongoing Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
This was after Colonel Steyn Lambertus told the Pretoria High Court that Kelly was in contact with the accused back in 2014.
Senzo Meyiwa was killed in October 2014, at his then girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus.
Kelly responded by sharing that she will be performing at the Women’s Day Soul Therapy on the 5th of August 2023.
