Mzimela To Remain as Chairman of Ingonyama Trust Board

Inkosi Thanduyise Mzimela’s appointment as the chairman of the Ingonyama Trust Board has caused rifts in the Zulu Kingdom.

The appointment led to a fight between the Zulu King Misuzulu KaZwelithini and the Zulu Traditional Prime Minister Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.

The Traditional Prime Minister of the Zulu believes that the land that belongs to Amakhosi under the Zulu Kingdom will be sold by the new leadership.

Buthelezi revealed that he will not be signing court affidavits in support of Misuzulu against Prince Simakade Zulu who also wants the throne.

Mzimela became an inkosi in 2005 following the passing of his father Inkosi Mpiyezintombi Mzimela.

He holds a degree in Public Administration from the University of Zululand.
