Zandile Khumalo appeared in court last month since she is a witness in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case. She made demands during court proceedings because she said she was a public figure.

Following backlash Zandie Khumalo has titled her third upcoming album The Public Figure. In the album she will express the pain she has been feeling since Senzo Meyiwa’s death.
Meyiwa was shot dead in October 2014 at his then girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus.
Khumalo told the media that she was exercising her democratic right by applying for her testimony not to be broadcast live.
