Former Isibaya actress Asavela Mqokiyana has joined e.tv drama series DurbanGen. The actress made her debut on TV as Sbahle on the now canned Mzansi Magic telenovela Isibaya.
She then landed a role on another Mzansi Magic telenovela called Abomama. She took a break from tv following her marriage last year.
Asavela was also in the media after exposing that her father who is the Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Manqoba Mngqithi was an absent father in her life.
