Vusi Thembekwayo and his wife Palesa’s divorce is getting messy in court. The two have accused each other of substance abuse and physical abuse.
In 2021 it was reported that Vusi was arrested after he physically abused his wife by hitting her and demanding that she leaves their house.
After he was released from jail Thembekwayo went to the media to say his side of the story. He said his wife was abusing substances and that they were having difficulties in their marriage.
The couple is battling it out in courts again, Vusi Thembekwayo reported his wife at the Johannesburg High Court.
He said his wife was refusing to sign papers on an offer to sell their property in Steyn City. The same home was reportedly going to be repossessed.
The property was bought in 2017 and Vusi has since suffered financial issues due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
