The defamation case of radio personality and reality television star Dineo Ranaka, and her ex-husband James Pesha is far from over.
Dineo accused her ex-husband of beating her when she was still nursing her baby. Pesha filed a half a million defamation lawsuit against Dineo who still maintains that he abused her.
The Kaya FM presenter is now trying to delay the case. The case was filed at the Johannesburg High Court after Dineo posted on social media that Phesha abused her.
Dineo is arguing that the court in which Phesha wants to preside over the case does not have jurisdiction to hear the case.
She said when she posted the status she was in the Western Cape and not in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Dineo has asked the Court to dismiss Phesha’s case with costs while he still maintains that he never abused her.
