Dr John Kani Falls Ill and Dropped from His Lead Role Fences

Veteran actor Dr John Kani will not be appearing on the upcoming theatre plays after he fell ill.

The actor was meant to appear in August Wilson’s famous play, Fences, at the Johannesburg Theatre next month.

His role will be replaced by Tumisho Masha, entertainment commentator and television host Kgopolo Phil Mphela shared the details on Twitter.
