DJ Sithelo’s manager, Kotini ( Siyabonga Zikode, 38) has confirmed that he was hospitalised.
Kotini, who told the Daily Sun newspaper that he did not suffer a stroke as reported widely on social media.
He had originally told the newspaper that he was not hospitalised, but later admitted that he was indeed in hospital recently but is now at home.
Kotini is the third KZN artist to have been put on a list of artists that have been hospitalised after suffering a stroke.
Kotini slammed Tzozo and everyone else who added him to the list of Durban-based artists who suffered from a stroke who include the late
Mampintsha and L’vovo Derango.
“I did not suffer a stroke, I am just fatigued, for now I have decided to suspended making music until I am fully recovered”.
