Zikhona Sodlaka Speaks on Her Emotional Exit from The Wife Showmax

The Wife actress Zikhona Sodlaka had an emotional exit on the Showmax series leaving a mark on the her former cast members and millions of South African viewers.

Like in the book the character Mandisa took her own life. She had lost her husband Nqoba Zulu played by Abdul Khoza and had also accidentally shot her son Ndumiso.

Speaking after her exit from the show, Zikhona said the ride was fun.

She also spoke fondly of her former cast members and thanked them for the good times they had together.

Her character was supposed to die in season one but producers kept her for three seasons because of her perfect execution of the role Mandisa.
