Thapelo Molomo was crowned the South African Idols season eighteen winner on Sunday 13 November 2022.
The season premiered on 17 July 2022 on Mzansi Magic television network. Nozi Sibiya was the runner-up.
Molomo instantly became a millionaire after winning the competition. He also got a recording deal with Kalawa Jazmee.
Thapelo worked for the South African Police Services in Pretoria before joining the competition.
