South African television and radio host Pearl Shongwe passed away at the age of 35.
It is believed she died from natural causes since there were no injuries found on her. She was found by her neighbours who arleted the police.
She was alone at her Polofields home, North of Johannesburg when she passed away. Shongwe worked at Metro FM and was previously a presenter at SABC.
The radio presenter was crowned Miss Soweto finalist in 2011. In 2010 Pearl Shongwe worked as an entertainment reporter for Youth radio station YFM.
