Olympian Oscar Pistorius was sentenced to imprisonment after the court found him guilty of culpable homicide.

Pistorius shot and killed his then girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day in 2013. Many people in South Africa thought Oscar will be granted parole this year.

This after Jub Jub and Sindisiwe Manqele  were released on parole after committing crimes that may be equivalent to Oscar’s crimes.

The medalist has been applying for parole but it has been revealed that he might not get any parole this year.

The Chief Registrar General of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Elizabeth Vermeulen confirmed that Pistorius might get parole in March 2023.
