Tshiamo travels leaves 22 Turkey clients stranded

Tshiamo Travels,  a popular travel agency which is owned by Pearl Khumalo, has left 22 clients who were supposed to travel to Turkey stranded at the OR Tambo International Airport.

Pearl is reported on social media as having switched off her phone days before the trip.

Pearl is reported to have told her clients, who paid R16 000 each for the trip, that an employee had booked fraudulent tickets and they could no longer fly.

Client Initially received regular communication, and Pearl had set up a whatsapp group for all the 22 travellers.

However, during the last week leading up to the trip, Pearl failed to provide details about the trip when requested.
