Last year former President Jacob Zuma was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment after he was found him guilty of contempt of court.

Head of Security Arthur Fraser released Jacob Zuma on medical parole. The Gauteng High Court in Pretoria ruled at the time that the decision was unlawful.

Yesterday the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein reserved the judgement in Jacob Zuma’s medical parole case.

Advocate Dali Mpofu told the Supreme Court of Appeal that former Correctional Services Commissioner Arthur Fraser took his decision to grant parole within the law.
