A man who sold ice cream appeared in court on the 25th of July for allegedly r@ping several women in Cape Town.

The man would lure the victims into a van where he would r@pe them. The young women were lured into the van with promises of jobs.

The incident was confirmed by the National Prosecuting Authority spokesman Eric Ntabazalila.

The victims would be offered laced ice cream before being violated. The 50 year old man appeared in the Atlantis Magistrate’s court in the Western Cape.

A victim pointed out his pink and white van leading to his arrest. The man is an Egyptian national who lives in Mitchells Plain in Cape Town.

On his arrest the man tried to bribe the police officers R10 000 so that they could not arrest him. The man was charged with r@pe, assault, and corruption.
