Senzo Meyiwa Trial, TT Thobane Takes Over from Malesela Teffo

The instructing attorney for accused one to four in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial said he had no idea that Advocate Malesela Teffo was going to quit.

Advocate Malesela Teffo told the Court that he was quitting as a result of threats and intimidation tactics from the state, NPA and the court.

TT Thobane has confirmed that he will be picking up from where advocate Malesela Teffo left off to represent the accused himself.

Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead in October 2014, at his then girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus.
