Thabo Mbeki Warns South Africa Could Face an Uprising Like the Arab Spring

Former President of South Africa Thabo Mbeki paid his tribute to the late ANC Deputy Secretary General Jessie Duarte at Johannesburg City Hall yesterday.

He warned that South Africa could experience an uprising just like the one that was experienced in Tunisia and other Arab countries (the Arab Spring).

Mbeki said the country was experiencing high unemployment amongst many other problems and soon the disgruntled citizens will rise against the government.
