Advocate Malesela Teffo who was the defense lawyer in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial told the Pretoria High Court yesterday that he was quitting from the case.

Teffo was representing four of the five accused in the Senzo Meyiwa trial.

He cited harassment from the state, police and the National Prosecuting Authority as the reason for quitting.

He added that his arrest on the 28th of May was hatched in the President’s office.
