The fight over King Misizulu ‘s asendancy to the Zulu throne has taken a nasty turn.
The late King Zwelithini’s brother, Prince Mbonisi, has revealed in court papers that King Misizulu suffers from drug addiction.
Prince Mbonisi said Misizulu was admitted at a rehabilitation facility in Cape Town but this failed. Prince Mbonisi revealed that the admission was arranged by Prince Mongusuthu Buthelezi.
He further revealed that King Misuzulu continues with his drug habit to this day.

The allegations are contained in an affidavit that was filed by Prince Mbonisi and 13 others which was filed at the North Gauteng High Court.
The group wants the court to set aside the installation of King Misizulu.
