Man Caught on Camera Assaulting Groblersdal Teen Denied Bail

NEWS 24 reported that Corrie Pretorius who is accused of assaulting and pointing a firearm at a minor has been denied bail.

Pretorius appeared in the Groblersdal Magistrate’s court in Limpopo on Wednesday 30 June 2022.

In her judgement Magistrate Nancy Mathava said if Pretorius was released on bail, his life would be at stake.

The victim’s mother told the media that her son is still traumatised following the encounter where a gun was pointed on his face.

In a video that was circulating on social media, the man could be seen kicking and stomping on the body of the teen who was laying on the ground.
