Watch: Cape Town Residents Stopped from Robbing a Plane That Crashed

News24 reported that a light aircraft carrying a pilot and a student crashed in Cape Town yesterday. The plane crashed after experiencing difficulties during training.

Residents had to be displaced from the scene as they tried to rob the pilot and the student who had crash-landed on an open field.

The pilot called for help as the plane was now being looted while their personal belongings were also targeted. The two escaped the crash with no major injuries.

The Cape Town Metro Police acted swiftly and dispersed the crowds while securing the scene.
