ENCA NEWS reported that police have asked for calm as they try to get to the bottom of a horrific scene in East London.
Atleast 17 people were found dead at a tavern in Scenery Park, East London. The incident allegedly occurred during the early hours of this morning.
The cause of the deaths is unknown at this moment, bodies are lying across tables, chairs and the floor with no visible signs of injury.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the deaths.
Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana said the authorities were alerted by members of the public about the incident.
Kinana added that it was too early to determine the cause of the deaths of the young udults aged between 18 to 20 years.
