Willard Katsande Given R60 000 by Hijack Suspect to Drop Charges

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande has allegedly accepted R60 000 from a man who assulted him during a bloody road rage incident.

In August 2021 Katsande opened a case of assult at the Honeydew police station after a man identified as Jacobeth used vulgarity that led to an altercation.

Katsande got injured on his arm and his car was left damaged. A statement has been released claiming that the accused paid for damages to the complainant.

The accused who got R1000 bail settled the matter with Katsande out of the court by paying for the damages caused.
