The late Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead in October 2014 in a botched up robbery.
The shooting took place at his then girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus.
Advocate Malesela Teffo who is representing accused one to four in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial is close to cracking up the case and Kelly Khumalo might be in trouble.
Teffo told the Pretoria High Court that he has a witness who will testify that Kelly Khumalo mistakenly shot Senzo Meyiwa using Longwe Twala’s revolver.
There are theories suggesting that Senzo Meyiwa was a victim of a hit and that the mastermind is still roaming the streets.
A second docket cites Kelly Khumalo and everyone who was in the house during the shooting as suspects.
These include Kelly Khumalo’s sister Zandie Khumalo and their mother Gladness Khumalo.
