ANC Suspends High Official for Theft and Fraud

The ruling Party ANC has been accused before of being hesitant to deal with wrong elements within the Party.

It has been reported that the Party suspended one of its officials who has allegedly been found on the wrong side of the law.

It has emerged that one of ANC’s big wigs and a member of the Western Cape Provincial legislature Danville Smith was arrested on theft charges last week.

Smith was allegedly involved in a car theft syndicate. The accused appeared in Court last week as investigations continue.

His suspension came after the Provincial ANC acknowledged his arrest. Smith was once accused of fraud last year.
