Mampintsha’s family members have dumped his reality show Uthando Lodumo due non-payments.
The musician’s mother Zama Gumede and his sister Pinki Gumede stopped filming during season two of the show.
Zama revealed that she was never paid for season one. She mentioned that she never wanted to be part of the show but Mampintsha begged and convinced her.
She added that she agreed for the sake of Mampintsha’s success. Zama said she did not want to film for the reality show after realising that she was being exploited.
The agreement was for her to receive payment per episode but she only got R10 000 which she was not sure what it was for.
On the other hand Pinki said they had to provide for their own transport and clothes to go on set. She also said she was not paid for the first season.
Pinki revealed that she only received R5 000 and the production had promised her money on the 1st of June but she never received it.
