Elon Musk has offered to pay over 40 billion dollars in buying Twitter. The deal needs the approval of shareholders and regulators.
Musk who is the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX revealed that if he takes over the company he would make Twitter a platform for free speech.

Trump and other prominent Republicans were banned from Twitter last year. The former US President said he might not return to the social media platform.
US President Joe Biden believes that the social media sector should do a better job of regulating itself to avoid the spread of misinformation.
