Advocate Malesela Teffo Granted R10 000 Bail

Defence lawyer in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial, Advocate Malesela Teffo was granted R10 000 bail by the Hillbrow Magistrate’s court.

Malesela Teffo was arrested on Thursday afternoon inside the Pretoria High Court. He spent one night at the Hillbrow police station in Johannesburg.

The advocate is representing four of the five accused in the Senzo Meyiwa trial. Teffo said he will regain his strength following the embarrassment.

He said agents from the NPA and SAPS were involved in his arrest. During the arrest Teffo told the media that Minister of Police Bheki Cele was involved.

However the Minister denied being involved in Teffo’s arrest.
