Elon Musk Buys Twitter for US$ 44 Billion

Tesla boss Elon Musk has managed to purchase Twitter for $44 billion cash. The transaction will shift control of social media.

Twitter is a platform that is used by millions of users. Musk wants Twitter to be a public platform that prioritises everyone instead of giving power to advertisers.

Musk promised to introduce new features including changing the platform’s content policies hindering free speech.

The businessman had accused the platform of censorship and too much moderation which included bans.
