Torrential rains have left thousands homeless and hundreds dead as floods and landslides wrecked havoc across KwaZuluNatal.

The port of Durban which is one of the busiest in sub-saharan Africa was affected. Even cemeteries were not spared from the damage caused by flooding and mudslides.

Residents of Ntuzuma in Durban are now witnessing human remains like skulls and bones washed off from cemeteries.

Atleast 395 people have been reported dead and more than 6000 homes destroyed.
