Trevor Noah Throws Shade at Will Smith & Chris Rock Oscars’ slap at Grammys

Will Smith slapped Chris Rock during the 94th live edition of the Oscars. This was after Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett’s bold head.

Trevor Noah who was hosting the 64th edition of the Grammy Awards threw some shade at the Will Smith & Chris Rock Oscars slap.

The Daily Show host told the guests to keep people’s names out of their mouths.

“We’re going to keep people’s names out of our mouths,” he teased.

This was in reference to Will Smith ordering Chris Rock to keep Jada’s name out of his mouth.

His opening monologue appeared to throw subtle shade at the slap heard around the whole world.

As host Noah wanted to avoid a repeat of the Oscars’ drama on music’s biggest night.
