A man was shot dead in Polokwane, Limpopo on the 4th of April 2022. This was after a gun wielding suspect entered a BMW dealership and pretended to buy a vehicle.
The suspect pulled out his gun and demanded the car keys from the manager. An altercation led to the shooting of a 57 year old man.
The deceased man had brought his BMW for servicing, the perpetrator fled the scene and was later busted after the vehicle ran out of petrol.
The incident was confirmed by Police Spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo. The suspect was found in possession of a stolen BMW and two firearms.

He is now facing charges of murder, possession of unlicensed firearms and robbery.
