Bathabile Dlamini finally Breaks Her Silence After Her Sentencing

ANC Women’s League President Bathabile Dlamini was on Friday sentenced to 5 years in jail or R200 000 fine for perjury.

She was found guilty of lying under oath during an inquiry into the SASSA grants in 2017. Bathabile was Minister of Social Development back then.

The former Minister opened about her arrest on the 3rd of April 2022. She took to Twitter to give thanks to her supporters for their solidarity.

It is still not yet confirmed if Bathabile Dlamini will be stepping down as the ANC Women’s League President.
