The Sunday World Newspaper has revealed that Soulful G (Gugu Bikani) is the woman who reported soccer player, Khanyiso Zungu for assault and then dropped the charges.
The upcoming Amapiano artist wrote in a police statement :
I went to a music concert on Sartuday and arrived at my South Hills flat on Sartuday morning.
After I entered the flat with Sasile Mlambo, Zungu started shouting saying he would not have a girlfriend who arrived late from gigs.
He then started to beat me with fists and a bottle.
I ran into a neighbor ‘s flat but he followed me and beat me up again.
Sasile is the one who phoned police and security guards.
Gugu told the newspaper that she withdrew the case when Zungu and his family begged her to do so do the sake of their careers.
