The girlfriend of Orlando Pirates Midfielder, Nonkanyiso Zungu, has dropped assault charges.
Zungu was arrested and charged on Sunday night at Moffatview Police station, after his girlfriend made a police report.
Orlando Pirates have confirmed Nkanyiso Zungu has been suspended.
Zungu was due to appear in court on Monday, but the girlfriend withdrew the charges.
