Musician Zola 7 used to be a role model for many in South Africa. He was popular on television as he was producing great hits in the early 2000s.

However Zola 7 had been forgotten in the entertainment industry. His recent pictures shocked Mzansi as he looked sickly.

Since then tweeps and celebrities have come forward to help the musician.

A video has surfaced of DJ Cleo visiting Zola 7 at his house. The two laughed and joked together before having a meal.

Tweeps also asked Minister Nathi Mthethwa to intervene and help Zola. They also asked for his banking details where they could send him some money.
