Vutlhari Chauke is a former Corporate Executive who traded the boardroom for farming. She now owns a small scale farming company known as VT Harvest.

The 33 year old left the boardroom for farming in 2017. She said Covid-19 fast tracked her development and growth in the agriculture sector.

Chauke is now part of the Gauteng government’s farming cooperative farming programme. The initiative was established to create sustainable jobs in the province.

The produce include red peppers, tomatoes, and many other vegetables.

Their markets are the local stores and vendors aswell as major grocery stores, fruit and vegetable franchises.
