Guilty of Perjury, Bathabile Dlamini To Be Sentenced on 1 April

The President of the African National Congress Women’s League was found guilty of perjury in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.

The former Minister of Social Development lied under oath during an inquiry chaired by retired Judge Bernard Ngoepe.

The matter relates to the SASSA, grant crisis in 2017. Magistrate Betty Khumalo will sentence the former Minister on the first of April.
