Former Minister Bathabile Dlamini Found Guilty of Perjury

According to eNCA NEWS former Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini was earlier today found guilty of perjury.

Dlamini was charged for lying under oath at an inquiry into the social grants crisis back in 2017.

This relates to Dlamini giving false evidence into her role in the social grants crisis.

The Judge at the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court Betty Khumalo was satisfied that the state provided a sufficient case to prove that Bathabile Dlamini lied under oath.
