Ricky Rick’s R60K Statue Destroyed After Sculptor Lungelo Gumede Threatened By His Family.

Ricky Rick’s statue made bt Dr Lungelo Gumede was threatened by Ricky’s brother Themba.

This took place on Sunday 6 March.

Lungelo made the statue to honour Ricky Rick and allowed people to view it for free.

However, the family said it was too early as they were still mourning.

They accused Lungelo of profiting from the statue.

Hence he decided to destroy it as he couldn’t stand the threats from family members.
