Sunday World reports that Lerato Kganyago ‘s managing agency, Alchemy Consult, has sent Bathu shoes a letter of demand for R315 000 that they owe the popular socialite.
The amount is an outstanding balance from R600 000 that Bathu agreed to pay Lerato when they appointed her as their brand ambassador for 12 months from March 2021.
Lerato was paid R285 000 and was required to attend 60% of all Bathu store openings.
Bathu then terminated Lerato’s contract in June 2021 citing budget constraints.

The newspaper says Lerato was told that she would be paid the balance of her retainer but the money was never deposited into her bank account, in spite of numerous follow ups
