Sisulu Refuses to Apologise After Meeting President Ramaphosa

Minister of Tourism Lindiwe Sisulu has been trending following her statements where she criticised the Constitution and questioned the independency of the Judiciary.

Following her statements, the Minister was criticised by Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo. Ramaphosa also released a statement asking for the Constitution to be respected.

Other political leaders including Economic Freedom Fighters president Julius Malema supported Lindiwe Sisulu for her truthfulness.

On Wednesday Sisulu met with the President and Ramaphosa’s media team later suggested that the Minister had apologised for her statements. Lindiwe Sisulu has dismissed this and below is a statement she released.
